Engineering Nelson Consortium Limited was registered in 2006, to meet the demand for a large engineering capability in the region. While our history is short, our experience is vast.
Through its shareholding companies, who are all Nelson based and have distinguished reputations for excellence in their respective fields, Engineering Nelson has the ability to bring together a complete team of professional managers, skilled trades people, workshop facilities, support suppliers and services that can be customised to meet our customers' needs.
The wealth of experience and knowledge available within Engineering Nelson, and that of its Business Manager, is applied to each project to determine the resources that best meet our customers’ requirements. Resources are not only sourced from each of the shareholding companies but also from the Nelson Engineering Cluster, a broad network of professionals and allied businesses located within the Nelson region, and further afield.
Engineering Nelson will call upon its vast networks to search for and secure specialist skills for a project, world wide if necessary. At times Engineering Nelson will subcontract aspects of a project while taking responsibility for quality and delivery, thus ensuring overhead costs are kept to a minimum, whilst providing the client with quality assurance.
